Verbumin 20% (Normal Human Albumin 20%) is a nonpyrogenic, sterile aqueous solution of Human Albumin for intravenous administration and is purified from pooled human plasma using a series of chromatography steps. Verbumin 20% is produced from pooled human plasma for fractionation conforming to the highest standards set forth by regulatory authorities.

To improve the margin of safety, effective viral inactivation steps have been integrated into the manufacturing and formulation process. The final product is tested to show freedom from viruses like HIV, HBV and HCV.
